Specialist Cerebral Palsy Clinics
1. General cerebral palsy clinic: orthopaedic (every Thursday morning 10am-1pm) patients seen by RJH and where possible patients own physio.
2. Movement Clinic: multidisciplinary clinic including RJH, Dr Arora, senior neurodisability physios and patient’s own physio. Longer appointment where detailed functional assessment made including video analysis and medical and surgical options discussed. (average one Thursday Month)
3. Botox Clinic: run by physios and Dr Arora, clinic is for administration of botulinum toxin, used to manage spasticity. This is usually done under sedation.
4. Cerebral Palsy Review Clinic: a new clinic run jointly between the community hospital and NNUH to review each patient and rationalise treatments, bringing together appointments and setting targets for the future.
