Our PRIDE Award recognises colleagues who have gone above and beyond in demonstrating our values through their work. Nominations can be made by a line manager, a colleague, patient or relative.

PRIDE Award nominations are competitive and considered by a multi professional panel, which includes patient representatives. It’s therefore important that you include as much information as possible to demonstrate, how you believe the individual, or team has gone the extra mile in demonstrating our values within the work setting. The details of the form a citation which is shared with the nominee(s). Making a nomination remains anonymous and your details are not shared with the individual or team being recognised.

Every month, our PRIDE award panel recognise up to two staff members who have exemplified our PRIDE values in the outstanding care or support they have given patients, visitors, or colleagues. Each month we also recognise a team which has gone above and beyond and again exemplified our Values.

Criteria:

1. Demonstrates going above & beyond their expected job roles
2. Demonstrates extraordinary examples of exceeding role expectations
3. Has a positive attitude and demonstrates professionalism in the work environment.
4. Exemplifies the vision and PRIDE values of the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital
