- Lung Cancer
If you have recently been told you have or are suspected of having lung cancer, you will have already met some of the people involved in your care. These health professionals work within a team which is called a specialist Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) which is based at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital. The members of the lung MDT are experts at treating and managing lung cancer. They are involved with your investigations, diagnosis and treatment.

Your consultant or a member of the respiratory team (specialists in lung conditions) will provide you with information about your diagnostic investigations and diagnosis and will refer you to other specialist teams for treatment.

Chris or Emma will be your key worker, providing you with help, support and information at the time of your diagnosis and during your treatment or care as needed.
Thoracic Surgery Team
Your consultant or a member of the surgical team (specialists in lung surgery) will provide you with information about your surgical investigations or treatment and will also monitor your progress during and after surgical treatment.

Patient Support Services
Norfolk & Norwich Lung Cancer & Mesothelioma Support Group
The support group meetings are held on a Saturday morning in February, May, August and November and are open to patients and their families affected by Lung Cancer or Mesothelioma.
