Welcome to the Directorate of Diabetes and Endocrinology. We hope this site will give both patients and referring doctors useful information on the services we provide, and the dedicated professionals who work in this busy department.

The department is the largest in the East of England, and one of the largest in the UK. The department directorate supports a full range of specialist and general clinical services, for a local population of 600,000, and a local diabetes population of 42,000 people with known and unknown diabetes (2011).
