Multidisciplinary Team

If you have recently been told you have or are suspected of having a breast cancer, you will have already met some of the people involved in your care. These health professionals work within a team which is called a specialist Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) which is based at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital. The members of the breast cancer MDT are experts at treating and managing breast cancer.  They are involved with your investigations, diagnosis and treatment.

Patient Support Services

Relaxation Group

The main aim of the group is to help patients learn relaxation skills to deal with the stress that can follow diagnosis and treatment. During group meetings there will be gentle exercise and relaxation practice.  Techniques for calming the mind will be taught.  There are usually discussions on various topics of interest to group members.  To book a place contact Breast Care Specialist Nurses.

Younger Women’s Group

Sports Action for Women after Cancer
