Eye Theatres

Two fully-equipped operating theatres are exclusively used for surgery by the Ophthalmology (eye) Department

Most of the eye operations in Norwich are carried out in eye theatres.  There are two operating theatres which are used exclusively for eye surgery.  The eye theatres are adjacent to the Nelson Day Unit and Coltishall Ward.  Some eye surgery is also carried out in the Day Procedure Unit or Main Theatres.  Cromer and District Hospital also has its own eye theatre.
