NIHR Norfolk Clinical Research Facility
Welcome to the NIHR Norfolk Clinical Research Facility (CRF).
The NIHR Norfolk CRF is accredited by the National Institute for Health and Care Research and hosted by the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
The NIHR has awarded £161 million over five years to 28 CRF units across England, to support early-phase and complex clinical studies.
Our NIHR Norfolk CRF will undertake work to further enhance our medical knowledge and improve patient care by driving forward innovation in experimental medicine and translational research.
NIHR Norfolk CRF will support research in our flagship purpose-built Clinical Research Facility at the Quadram Institute on the Norwich Research Park and in the main Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital building, including the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
Our Trust has been awarded £1m from NIHR over the next five years to expand the delivery of early phase clinical research.
Further information about the NIHR Norfolk CRF, including information for researchers and patients will be published on this website.
