Norwich Community Hospital

The Norwich Community Hospital (formerly the West Norwich Hospital) is managed by Norfolk Community Health and Social Care NHS Trust but is home to number of our services including, Breast Screening and Pain Management. The hospital has a restaurant and WRVS shop.

Rouen Road

Rouen Road is located in the centre of Norwich, and is home to our Workplace Health & Wellbeing, Outpatient Appointments Booking Service, Finance, Human Resources, IT Admin as well as Information Services, Clinical Effectiveness, Procurement, Cancer Services, Commissioning and Cromer Project Teams.

Cotman Centre (Cellular Pathology)

The Histopathology and Cytopathology Departments are based at the Cotman Centre on the Norwich Research Park, close to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital. The departments look to diagnose disease from a wide range of cells as part of investigations on behalf of GPs, NNUH and JPUH hospital doctors and HM Coroner. Our service is consultant-led and all consultant staff are Fellows of the Royal College of Pathologists.

Health Records Library

The Health Records Library is based at the Francis Centre and is responsible for storing all live and deceased patient health records for the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital and supplying medical records for all emergency and elective inpatient admissions and clinic appointments.

To protect the security and confidentiality of patient records, access to the Health Records Library is restricted to NHS staff with a prior appointment to access medical records for audit and research purposes and Trust staff requiring access to the archive. Patients are only allowed to enter the Library if they have applied for access to their health records and have a prior appointment to attend for an access interview or to collect their records.

All visitors must provide proof of identity before they are allowed to enter the building and for NHS staff this will be their identity badges. Attendance can be arranged by contacting the Operational Co-ordinator on 01603 288723.
