While you wait

Our teams are working hard to reduce the number of patients waiting and we are prioritising patients with cancer, the most urgent and those waiting longest for their treatment.

My Planned Care

The My Planned Care website gives you advice and support while you wait and helps you to prepare for your hospital consultation, treatment, or surgery. This includes giving you information about waiting times at your hospital and other supporting and local services while you wait. Please note that these are average waiting times.

This site is updated weekly and can be viewed by visiting www.myplannedcare.nhs.uk

The NHS App

A new NHS App feature has been launched for patients to view estimated waiting times for your hospital treatment. NHS App users can also view hospital referrals and appointments in one place and see a single point of contact and supporting information for your appointments.

Patients can also receive notifications and messages about their hospital appointments on the NHS App.

While You Wait

To help support people waiting for a hospital appointment, operation or treatment, the While You Wait portal has been launched and is available on the Norfolk and Waveney Integrated Care System website. It gives people advice on what they can do to maintain or improve their physical and mental health while they wait, as well as support with how to get help if they are concerned. It includes tips and information on keeping healthy including a downloadable Exercise at Home guide, mental health resources, and links to local support services within Norfolk and Waveney as well as other trusted sources of information.
